See you @ the beach!
We showed here a few weeks ago how beach volleyball players were doing to remain active amid the coronavirus pandemic, remember? Some of them were fortunate enough to be quarantined with their coaches or even their partners, but others had to get creative to figure out who could help them on their practices.
So just think - outside of their husbands or wives and their kids, who else do they share their households with?
You’re right, their pets!
By now, you’ve probably heard about Kiara, right? If not, she’s Mathias Berntsen’s dog and an early candidate for the World Tour’s best setter award. She can pepper…
…and, most amazingly, play volleyball matches with the Beach Volley Viking. This video has been all over social media in the last few days and shows her unbelievable skills in the sport.
But she’s not the only dog to be helping their beloved humans these days. Australian star Mariafe Artacho needed a hand when she was doing her home work out a few days ago and guess who was there to give it?
Brazilian defender George Wanderley and his girlfriend and fellow beach volleyball pro Andressa Cavalcanti decided to pepper by the pool to break monotony these days and their dog made sure the drill was as challenging as possible.

After training is over, don't forget to stretch. And Italian Viktoria Orsi Toth was accompanied by stretching master Brumi on her mat.
And sometimes these lovely pets don’t even need to do anything to help. Don’t you think John John’s presence was super supportive to Vitor Felipe and his wife Natalia during their drills?
